This is a great example of an American diner in upstate New York – the Eveready Diner in Hyde Park. Hyde Park has a lot of history – Franklin D. Roosevelt’s home, library, museum and digital archives are here, so is Eleanor Roosevelt’s house. The Vanderbilt Mansion is also here .. as well as the Culinary Institute of America, the world’s premier culinary college.
